We are a developer and manufacturer of an osseointegrative exoprosthetic modular medical devise for patients with amputated limbs.
Our development is a modern and effective replacement for stump sockets.
In 2021, we patented the first system of devices for osteointegrative exoprosthetics of the lower limbs in Russia.
We received two patents: for the implantable part and the external assembly connecting the implant and exoprosthesis. The launch of our solution on the market will increase the efficiency of exoprosthetics and improve the quality of patients life.

Is New Step suitable for the patient?
The decision to use NewStep is made by a doctor after a medical evaluation.
Are there any peculiarities of using the system for the patient?
It is necessary to perform daily hygiene procedures for the implant exit site from the residual limb. The procedures are similar to brushing the teeth twice a day.
What are the risks?
Like any surgery using general anesthesia, this procedure carries the same risks of complications. There is also a risk of postoperative infectious inflammation, which can be treated with antibiotic therapy in the short term.
Can the stump socket be used?
Yes. An existing stump socket can be used during the rehabilitation period between the first and second operation.
Is it possible to go back to a stump socket instead of an osseointegrative system?
Yes, after removal of the components of the implant system, the stump socket can be used again.
Is it possible to swim with such an implant system?
If the stoma is normal, you can swim in salt water and chlorinated pools. After swimming, the implant exit site should be cleaned with soap and water as part of your normal daily hygiene routine.
Is it possible to play sports?
Yes, but under the supervision of a rehabilitation specialist. For the first 12 months after the last stage of the operation, it is recommended to refrain from high-intensity sports. Contact sports, martial arts, soccer and skiing are not recommended.
Which exoprosthetic module should be used?
You can use the exoprosthetic module that was used with the stump socket. The system is compatible with any available exoprosthesis.
What should I do if the implant structure is bent, unstable or backlashed?
Mechanical complications (fractures, bends, backlash) of the abutment, adapter occur with excessive loads or falls. After examination, the deformed components will be replaced.
